Home of The Dude, Los Angeles plays a central role in The Big Lebowski. From Malibu to Venice, The Big L acts as an historical documentary, capturing the sould of L.A. in the early '90s, prior to the Rodney King riots. Some locations were renamed to fit the fictional world of the Dude. Here is a mix of the real world locations where the film was shot and areas of L.A. that are featured.
