Quite a pad ya got here, Jackie. Completely unspoiled, man.
The home of Jackie Treehorn, noted California publisher of political advocacy, program listings, entertainment and television-related news media, and adult entertainment. The Treehouse, is a prime example of mid-century American organic architecture, located in an exclusive private neighborhood right on the beaches of Malibu, where presumably fantastical unknowable acts of debauchery and depravity take place.
The property was sold to a private collector in 2012 after Mr. Treehorn's untimely death, who was considered a pillar of his community.
Trivia[]
In 1987, to compete with Hugh Hefner of Playboy (of which Treehorn's own publication, Hedonist, continually languished behind in sales) and the Playboy Mansion's famous enclaved pool, The Grotto, Jackie had his own installed, which he dubbed “The Cove.”
